Assuming she doesn't sneak up on him completely, Akechi will glance up once he notices her, a... very somber look on his face. His attempt at a smile looks more like a grimace than anything else.]
Ah... Nikki-san, was it? It's a relief to see you're unharmed.
[Nikki finds Akechi after changing into a suitably somber mourning outfit - which isn't especially usefulI, but the clothes are there, and all her problems in the past were typically solved by putting on the right outfit. Maybe it's just the placebo effect, but it does make her feel a little better.]
It's a relief to see you're okay, too, but... [She stares at the spot on the ground that had, for a few brief moments, been where Haruka's body had rested before the staff had carted her away.] ...I wish we all were.
