[...... Well. Guess the two of them can be sad in the hallway. Akechi comes across her a while after Haruka's death, grimacing as he scans the hallways. Once he spots her, he's quick to approach... though he's lacking the customary smile on his face for obvious reasons. This sucks, man.]
[She doesn't respond immediately, a dark look in her eyes as she stares down at an unfocused portion of the floor. It's only when she catches a glimpse of him in her peripheral that she finally turns to acknowledge him, her expression lost.]
Oh... Akechi...
I'm sorry... I'm afraid my hearing still isn't very good.
[Well. Their senses are apparently back now, so that's nice! Or, at least, it would have been nice if Akechi didn't bruise the heck out of himself in the past week. He's more or less waddling around the mansion now that The PainTM is here... Until he sees Luna, and immediately pretends all is fine and dandy in the world.]
Luna-san. [Hi. Hello. Howdy.] ... I was concerned for you after the trial. How are you faring?
[She sure was at the execution but she SURE DIDN'T WATCH IT. She, in fact, stared at the ground the entire time, only bothering to look up when she noticed she could finally hear again.
And then Beau fell over and, you know. Chaos. Since then, she's been trying to keep an eye out for those that only just received their nervous system back after a week of nothing.
Unfortunately (Fortunately????) she doesn't know Akechi was one of those, so congratulations, she doesn't expect a thing when he walks up to her in the library, carefully searching through the books.]
Oh... hello Akechi. P-please, just Luna is fine, okay? I think formalities can wait for a more, um... suitable time.
...
I'm... [A beat, then a ragged sigh, her fingers tracing idly at the spines of the books in front of her.] ...I'll be okay.
I seem to have received a lot of unwanted attention.
[....................... Well. It looks like Luna is getting no rest today! Assuming Asch hasn't cartwheeled his way to the grave, Akechi has something she wants to talk to her about.]
... I'm sorry, but do you have a minute? There's something I'd like to discuss before tomorrow's trial.
[He does look genuinely apologetic, for whatever it's worth.]
[ASCH IS NOT DEAD THANK CHRIST and has been brought up to his room. Once he's finally, FINALLY stable and someone else has taken over keeping an eye on him, Luna flees to the garden.
It's there that Akechi can find her on one of the benches, her dress still stained with blood, distantly looking at one of the bird baths that trickles water up in a small fountain.
She'll glance in his direction, just enough to acknowledge his presence, before turning her eyes right back to the bird bath.]
...There's no need to apologize. What did you want to talk about?
Akechi will retreat to his room after the initial flood of questions, and will stay there.............. for a very long time. Will Luna seek him out in his room, or will she ambush him after he sneaks out, intent on making his way down to the kitchen and then back?]
[She is INTENTIONALLY coming to find him once she's done with Hunter and 45. As good as Akira's intentions might be, she saw that slash on Akechi's arm. She had to at least take a look.
A creeping dread grabs at your bones. You know what's coming. You fear it. You can feel the sparks on the edges of your mind, like the grinding of metal on stone. It doesn't hurt. But it doesn't belong. It's hard to think. It's hard to breathe.
And then the names are read.
And everything goes R̴̢̡̗̥̖͉͙͚͎̲̦̒̓͛̍͐́͗̒̄̉͠Ȩ̷̧̫̪͚͕͉̲͖̣͕͙͒̍ͅD̷̨̧̘͕̭̱̣̻̙̪̗̞̗̈́̅̈͑́͝
Fortunately(?) for Luna, Akechi isn't hiding from the world right now. She will easily find him in the lounge, sitting on one of the couches with a carbonated drink in his right hand. His spiral bound notebook is on his lap, and he seems to be taking notes when she enters the room.
He lifts his head up, expression odd like he's ready to plaster a smile on his face at a moment's notice — and then he realizes it's just her, and his expression goes blank. A second later, he returns to his notes without saying anything.
[New week, new locations! Akechi naturally finds his way into the Astronomy Tower, climbing the stairs all the way to the top. He gives the room a cursory glance, a curious look on his face — up until he spots her. His expression shutters at that point, and he pauses, trying to see what she's up to before he decides whether or not to approach.]
[It's the middle of the day, but who cares!!! Luna is off examining one of the star charts, her dress a little too on theme. There's something a little... lost in her expression as her fingers trace over unfamiliar constellations. It's nostalgic.]
[He still needs to talk to her, so Akechi will go looking for Luna once enough time has passed for... things to be a lot more chill, maybe. Or at least, enough time has passed that Zenitsu's injuries have been taken care of. He eventually finds her in the infirmary.]
[Sometime on Thursday, presumably before break-in shenanigans can happen, Luna will receive the following text on Sherlock Bones:]
Hello, Luna. I trust you haven't forgotten what will happen at 11:00, and have planned accordingly.
Akira has invited me to stay in Room 3 with Amada-kun, Ayabe-san and Nakahara-kun. I have yet to accept the invitation. Have you decided where you will spend the night?
[It's... fine. It's fine! She won't find Akechi inside the house, but if she ventures outside, she will eventually stumble across him in the playground. He's sitting cross legged on the roundabout, his cellphone laying face down next to him and an open notebook on his lap. Unless she calls out to him, he won't look up.]
[Well... It won't be until a good, long time after the end of the trial, but Akechi will eventually make his way to the lab. He won't step in just yet, however, instead lingering at the doorway to check out the State of the Luna. Can he see her from here, or should he suck it up and walk in?]
[She's laid out on the table currently! Her chestplate has been propped open and there's still tools and manuals everywhere, but other than that, it's hard to see what's up. Brilith seems to have stepped out for the moment.]
[Guess Luna is getting intercepted somewhere during this whole mess? Akechi is visibly bandaged up by this point, but he immediately nyooms over to her once he finds her.]
Luna. [HELLO, PARTNER... Former partner? Previous co-worker. Akechi is giving her an obvious lookover, even while fucking exhausted.] Are you unharmed?
[She's a BUSY BEE and is actually trying to figure out what corner of sadness and woe Akechi shoved himself into... but then she rounds a corner and there he is???]
A-ah, Akechi, there you are... Y-yes, my team and I were, um... very, very lucky--- [Her eyes are immediately on the bandages, her weary expression easing slightly on seeing the medical care.]
Oh... oh, good. Did Brilith find you? [Probably not, because she remembers what happened during memory share!!! But she would rather trust him to at least try to tell her the truth.]
She's going to wait until they are not surrounded by people just in case this goes badly... But once she's able to find him somewhere, she's going to walk up to him from behind and wordlessly wrap her arms around him.
She will probably get an elbow in the face. This is fine.]
Hugging Akechi from behind, especially after such a big battle? Bad idea. The moment her arms wrap around him, he will immediately tense up and act without thinking things through. Sorry to say, he's absolutely elbowing her in the teeth before reaching back to flip her over his shoulder. Be happy, Nik.
.................. She may be dangling a few inches above the ground once Akechi realizes it's her and stares at her like a deer in the headlights. Sorry, Luna.]
week zero, sunday.
Luna-san, it's good to see you again. [Even though they're all jamjarred...] How are you faring so far?
this is in the morning otherwise luna's just Occupied the rest of Sunday
Her eyes light up with familiarity as she turns and sees him.]
Good morning, Akechi.
I'm... [Ssssighs.] --as well as I could be, I suppose? The last couple of days have been a little stressful.
How about you? I hope people have at least been willing to give out a little information.

Luna. [HELLO, PARTNER... Former partner? Previous co-worker. Akechi is giving her an obvious lookover, even while fucking exhausted.] Are you unharmed?

A-ah, Akechi, there you are... Y-yes, my team and I were, um... very, very lucky--- [Her eyes are immediately on the bandages, her weary expression easing slightly on seeing the medical care.]
Oh... oh, good. Did Brilith find you? [Probably not, because she remembers what happened during memory share!!! But she would rather trust him to at least try to tell her the truth.]

week six, saturday
She's going to wait until they are not surrounded by people just in case this goes badly... But once she's able to find him somewhere, she's going to walk up to him from behind and wordlessly wrap her arms around him.
She will probably get an elbow in the face. This is fine.]
nik why would you do this to poor luna
Hugging Akechi from behind, especially after such a big battle? Bad idea. The moment her arms wrap around him, he will immediately tense up and act without thinking things through. Sorry to say, he's absolutely elbowing her in the teeth before reaching back to flip her over his shoulder. Be happy, Nik.
.................. She may be dangling a few inches above the ground once Akechi realizes it's her and stares at her like a deer in the headlights. Sorry, Luna.]
